Metrioptera roeselli

Behaviour: 

The song is a soft, high-pitched, completely uniform buzz, which is only briefly interrupted at long intervals. In comparison with the harsh buzz of Tettigonia cantans, the M. roeselii song is distinctly softer and quieter, audible from only about 10m; nevertheless a whole meadow can be filled with its song.
