Ischnomela pulchripennis
Behaviour:
..one forest katydid ,Ischnomela pulchripenis (11), has localizable cal features. It sings from large (2m) terestrial bromeliads (Aechmea magdalanae) that are covered with long, sharp spines that could injure a bat's delicate wings. [1]
