Arcyptera Arcyptera fusca
Behaviour:
The males, which are proficient fliers, produce a rattling sound in flight, which is softer than Psophus and Bryodema. On landing they ofyten produce a lod, rasping 're' by a single, short stroke of the hind femora against the fore wings. The same sound is produced together with a whirring sound in the calling song, roughly 're-chshsh-re-re'. [1]
