Bryodema tuberculata

Behaviour:

Disturbed males fly effortlessly for 50m, producing, at the same time, a melodious whirring sound, much softer than in Psophus stridulus. The females also fly with a whirring sound, but only for short distances. The insects can also fly silently. During courtship the whirring male flies around the stationary female. [1]
