Vietacheta harpophylla

Behaviour:

The songs, obtaining several echemes, sound like electricity but discontinue (Fig. 7A). Echemes possess interval (0.842 ± 0.279 s) and each of them is constructed by six or seven elements (Fig. 7A; Table 2). These elements are constituted by one, four, or five syllables and the elements are separated by some intervals (0.061 ± 0.011 s) (Fig. 7B; Table 2). Echemes last for 0.330 ± 0.054 s (Table 2). The frequency ranges are mostly between 4.875 kHz and 8.625 kHz (the maximum could be 9.75 kHz sometimes) with peak frequency 6.072 ± 0.134 kHz (Table 2). Regarding spectro-temporal variation (Fig. 7B), the first harmonics in one element are almost continuing and each of them is slightly bent at median. The second harmonics bent and become thicker distally. The third harmonics are weak and similar to the second ones. [1]
