Abstract:

A new morphologically cryptic species from the genus Isophya Brunner von Wattenwyl is described from Ciucao Mountains in Romania: Isophya ciucasi n. sp. Diagnosis, images and a bioacoustic analysis are presented for the new species and compared with Isophya camptoxypha (Fieber), the species with a very similar morphology.
