Behaviour:
Data available for E. surinamensis and E. guyanensis only: these are diurnal species, living in open areas of rain forests (along roads, in natural or man-made clearings). Both sexes are found near the ground, in the leaf litter or some- times on low plants, from where males sing. [1]
