Behaviour:
The song of R. differens in the Ugandan population was described by Bailey (1976). Individuals in Gorongosa produce calls similar to those of the Ugandan population. They consist of long, uninterrupted trains of short syllables (mean syllable duration 0.00493 s, SD=0.000242; n=16) at the rate of 160 syllables/sec (at 21°C), with the frequency peak at 13.4–14.6. kHz. The call is relatively loud and readily audible to an average human ear (Figs. 48A–C). [1]
